Just a reminder that in the New Year 2019 the CKF (Canadian Kendo Federation) membership is due. For your convenience here is a link to the CKF website membership login.

The membership is mandatory for all members. Our dojo is member of the CKF and it provides benefits to members amongst other things Health Insurance in case of an injury.

It is also required for you to be admitted to a grading examination (shinsa). Even if you are not grading this year, you need to be paid up for the previous years. It is not a lot of money (for the year) and it provides funds for bringing sensei from Japan and organizing events like Championships and other seminars.
